IT Support Engineer

Role:

As a member of the IT Support team, you would be responsible for performing day-to-day service desk tasks, managing SaaS services and IT infrastructure. Additionally, you would be responsible for automating IT processes and implementing new software and hardware solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing new on-site and SaaS services
  • Optimising and automating existing services
  • On-site network management and troubleshooting
  • System imaging and deployment
  • User onboarding and offboarding
  • Managing endpoints
  • Configuring, supporting and maintaining user desktops, laptops and printers
  • Managing IT Support hardware/software inventory and purchasing
  • Documenting IT processes and providing training and support for staff

Requirements:

  • Experience with OSX and Apple hardware
  • Minimum 3 years of service desk experience
  • Minimum 1 year of service management experience
  • Basic understanding of Networking (LAN, VLANs, Corporate Wireless)
  • Knowledge of at least one scripting language (bash, perl, python, ruby)

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience in IT process automation and 3rd party solution implementation
  • Experience with Google Apps for Business
  • Experience in Active Directory management and configuration
  • Experience in managing office network infrastructure
  • Experience in IT Security field
  • Some PowerShell experience
